Kya brings over 12 years of Human Resources experience in local government, along with a strong background in program development and organizational support. She is currently pursuing her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, with plans to earn a dual Bachelor’s in Psychology and Legal Studies.
As Vice Chair of the Board and Deputy Director of Honey (b) Moms, Kya plays a vital leadership role, blending operations, strategy, team development, and community engagement to help drive the organization’s mission forward. A creative problem-solver with a heart for service, she is passionate about empowering individuals and families through education, connection, and transformation.
As a wife and mother of four, Kya brings both professionalism and personal insight to her work, supporting growth at every level.
