Our Story
Honey Black Brown Moms of New Jersey began as a vision in 2018, born from a desire to create a space where new moms could connect, find their rhythm, and thrive. Our goal was to build a supportive network for women of color with shared aspirations or those seeking guidance, while also drawing on our experience as state and local government workers to help families navigate public resources.

Throughout 2019 and during the global shutdown of 2020, we focused on research, strategic planning, and building a strong foundation of intentionally uplifting women of color, while welcoming all women. This work ensured that when the world resumed its pace, Honey Black Brown Moms of New Jersey would be ready to make a lasting impact.

In 2021, our vision became reality when we were officially established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Trenton, NJ. Since then, we have not only launched programs and workshops but also cultivated a true village and space where every woman feels seen, supported, and empowered.
